The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Türkiye, Aca Jovanović, presented the Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at a solemn ceremony in the Presidential Palace in Ankara today, July 17, 2024.

During an appropriate courtesy conversation after the ceremony, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan conveyed his warm greetings to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. He also wished Ambassador Jovanović the best of luck in his future work.

For his part, Ambassador Aca Jovanović expressed his personal readiness and commitment to further development and improvement of the overall cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Turkey, which is given special impetus by the high level of relations between President Aleksandar Vučić and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The following day, July 18, 2024, it is planned that the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Türkiye, Aca Jovanović, lays a wreath and pays his respect to the founder of the modern Turkish state, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, at the official ceremony in the "Anitkabir" mausoleum.
