In line with the mutual interest in maintaining a high level of economic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Türkiye, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ankara Aca Jovanović met today, January 29, 2025, with the President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Gürsel Baran.

During the cordial and productive conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the current results of the dynamic economic exchange, which was particularly contributed to by the holding of the Serbian-Turkish Business Forum in October 2024, during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Belgrade.

Our side once again emphasized the importance of Turkish investments in the Republic of Serbia, the value of which has grown exponentially over the past decade. Ambassador Jovanović also thanked for the confirmation of the participation of the Republic of Türkiye in the Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, which undoubtedly confirms the high level of mutual relations and cooperation.

The President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Gürsel Baran, for his part, expressed special interest in the soonest possible visit of a delegation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce to Ankara, in order to best learn about the trade potential of the Turkish capital through direct contact.
