Ambassador Jovanovic meets with businessmen in Bursa

During his visit to the Bursa Chamber of Industry, on February 10, 2025, Ambаssador Jovanović spoke with the Assistant President of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Cuneyt Şener, as well as with other members of this body. In a cordial conversation, mutual satisfaction was expressed with the current level of cooperation in the fields of industry, trade, economy, investments, and the dynamic exchange of goods between Serbia and Türkiye.

After his visit to the Chamber of Industry, Ambassador Jovanović visited the FEKA OTOMOTIV factory, which also operates in Serbia, through its branch in Ćuprija. During the visit, the president of the factory, Ferit Karslioğlu, presented the key segments of the production process to the Ambassador. The meeting discussed the workforce and employment conditions, analyzing the similarities and differences between the labor markets in Serbia and Türkiye. The interlocutors agreed that digitalization and automation are increasingly shaping the labor market, which opens up opportunities for improving cooperation between companies from both countries through knowledge exchange, investment in innovation and strengthening the capacity of the workforce.

During his visit to the NOSAB (Nilüfer) Industrial Zone in Bursa, the Ambassador met with the President of the Zone's Board of Directors, Yalçin Aras, and other members of the NOSAB management. President of the Board of Directors Aras welcomed Ambassador Jovanovic, emphasizing that Serbia is not only a business partner, but also a close, friendly and neighboring country, and expressed his belief that the exceptionally good bilateral relations will continue in the future.

During this meeting, Ambassador Jovanovic expressed his satisfaction with the constructive cooperation and friendly relations between Serbia and Turkey. He invited NOSAB members to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ankara and to visit Belgrade, in order to learn about the city's economic and industrial potential.
