Today, March 3, 2026, a cordial meeting between Ambassador Aca Jovanović and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I was held in Istanbul, during which numerous topics of common interest were raised.
For his part, Ambassador Aca Jovanović particularly emphasized the importance of the enthronement of Metropolitan Gregory of Ankara in December 2025, given the large number of Orthodox believers in the capital of Türkiye.
