Meeting of Ambassador Aca Jovanović with the Dean of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography of Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Irfan Albayrak

On November 28, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Ankara, Aca Jovanović, visited the headquarters of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography of Ankara University and held a meeting with the Dean of this higher education institution, Prof. Dr. Irfan Albayrak.
In a productive conversation, numerous initiatives of mutual interest were discussed, among which the issue of the formal commencement of the work of the Department of Serbian Language at the Department of Slavic Studies of this Faculty occupies a special place.
In this regard, further joint activities were agreed to strengthen the necessary capacities for the future functioning of the Department, which will contribute to the intensification of cooperation in the field of higher education between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Türkiye.
