Meeting between Ambassador Aca Jovanović and Ambassador Ülkü Kocaefe

On October 13, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ankara, Aca Jovanović, met with Ülkü Kocaefe, Head of the Directorate for Educational Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
During a cordial discussion, the two sides addressed numerous topics of mutual interest within the framework of intensive bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, education, and culture, noting the commencement of work on establishing a Department of Serbian Language at Ankara University.
The interlocutors reaffirmed their mutual readiness to continue working on the implementation of concrete initiatives to deepen cooperation in the aforementioned areas—above all, by increasing the visibility and presence of Serbian culture in the Turkish capital.
