Ambassador Spasojević visited today The International Institute for Strategic Studies (USAK).
During the meeting with the management and top researcher of the Institute, Ambassador Spasojevic was introduced to the work and activities of this independent organisation which is very influential in Turkish political and academic circles and which analyses international politics with special attention to its reflection on Turkey.
The International Institute for Strategic Research (USAK) was established in 2004 and has gained significant status and influence in a short period of time. Today it provides a relevant source of information for political and academic circles in Turkey.
During the meeting USAK researchers expressed their interest in the situation in the Balkans and recent developments in Turkish-Serbian bilateral relations.
Ambassador Spasojević stressed that the Serbian Embassy in Ankara would seek for further cooperation with the USAK Institute as well as other relevant academic institutions and representatives of the NGO movement in Turkey.
