Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic spoke yesterday with President of Turkey Abdullah Gul about all major regional and international issues.
At a meeting at the presidential palace in Ankara, the agreement was reached to proceed with the promotion of already good bilateral relations between Serbia and Turkey.
A special emphasis should be placed on strengthening cooperation in the fields of economy and agriculture and on increasing mutual trade and investment, the two officials noted.
The continuation of cooperation in the implementation of infrastructure projects and the Turkish donation for the military and civilian airport "Morava" near Kraljevo was also agreed.
Gul stressed that Serbia is the most important country of the region, adding that for the stability of the entire region the good relations between Serbia and Turkey are very important, as well as the development of a good partnership between the two countries.
