Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic met yesterday in Istanbul with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Following the meeting with the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that Turkey considers Serbia a key player and key country in the region and therefore believes that cooperation between the two countries has to be as close as possible, with mutual respect for the legitimate interests.
Serbian Prime Minister said that Serbia's interest is to develop the cooperation and that interest of Turkey is that such a cooperation, as well as the overall interest of that country in the Balkans, is to stabilize the region.
During the meeting it was agreed to intensify political activity by holding regular annual meetings between the two governments, and that the current level of trade in the coming years should be raised to more than a billion dollars.
