Minister of Justice and Public Administration of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Nikola Selakovic, completed the three-day visit to Turkey, during which he met President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mr Cemil Cicek, Minister of Justice, Mr Ergin Sadullah and representatives of high-level Turkish judiciary system.
Ministers of Justice of Serbia and Turkey, Mr Nikola Selakovic and Mr Sadullah Ergin, announced in Ankara the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the domain of justice, which will soon be formalised officially by signing of three important agreements on cooperation in civil and criminal matters.
After almost two-hours meeting at the Ministry of Justice of Turkey, during which they exchanged experience in the area of judicial reform, ministers emphasized that this meeting was a major step toward improving relations between the two countries. Turkish Minister of Justice said: "In recent years, we can say that the cooperation between Serbia and Turkey has been improving especially in terms of economic and political relations. We are trying to strengthen it further by high-level visits, and this is just one of them, which will strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in the domain of justice.”
