The delegation of the Rectorate of the University of Belgrade, headed by rector, Prof. Dr. Mr. Vladimir Bumbaširević, has visited the Ankara University. Rector of the University of Belgrade Mr. Bumbaširević and rector of the the Ankara University Mr. Ibis have signed the Protocol on Academic Cooperation, as the first step in the cooperation between two esteemed institutions.

During the conversations two sides have expressed their readiness to launch and develop various ways of concrete cooperation, such as exchange od profesors, students etc.

They also discussed the possilities of the establishment of the Department for Serbian Language and Literature at the Ankara University.
