Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with outgoing Turkish Ambassador to Serbia Tanju Bilgiç about the achieved results in cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as plans and projects for the future.
Brnabic assessed that the cooperation between Serbia and Turkey is currently at the highest level and that it greatly contributes, not only to bilateral relations and economic development, but also to the stability of our region. Summarising the joint projects, the Prime Minister pointed out that those in the field of infrastructure are especially important, highlighting the project of regional friendship and prosperity – the Belgrade-Sarajevo-Belgrade highway.
Bilgiç pointed out that Turkey considers Serbia a great friend and the most important country in the region, which greatly contributes to its stability and cooperation.
He stated that approximately a thousand Turkish companies are currently operating in Serbia and that this number will increase, thanks to good market conditions and the financial stability that Serbia has achieved.
