During the first courtesy meeting on the occasion of the inauguration of the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Türkiye on July 30, 2024, the interlocutors discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda and confirmed mutual readiness for further strengthening of overall ties.
In a cordial conversation, the high level of political relations between the two countries traced by intensive bilateral dialogue at the high and highest level was highlighted, as well as numerous potentials for improving cooperation in areas such as construction, science, technology, culture and sports. In this context, Ambassador Jovanović particularly emphasized the importance of the upcoming holding of EXPO 27 in Belgrade.
Ambassador Bozay wished Ambassador Jovanović success during his upcoming mandate in Ankara, where he will have the full support of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in accordance with the common determination to intensify relations.
