During his visit to Bursa, on February 10, 2025, Ambassador Jovanović held a courtesy meeting with Bursa Governor Erol Ayyıldız. On that occasion, the Governor extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Jovanovic, emphasizing the importance of this meeting and its role in further strengthening bilateral relations between Serbia and Türkiye.

On this occasion, Ambassador Jovanovic reported on the events and initiatives during President Erdogan's presidential visit to Belgrade in October last year, as well as the signed agreements, the economic forum and the dynamics of bilateral relations, which were assessed as never before. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural, economic and friendly relations between the two countries.
