Representatives of the Izmir City Municipality Batuhan Alpaydın and Melike Okyay visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ankara to present Ambassador Aca Jovanović with an invitation letter from the Mayor of this Turkish city, Dr. Çemil Tugay, for the participation of Serbian cities in the 94th International Fair in Izmir, from August 29 to September 9, 2025.
During a productive conversation, the interlocutors agreed that this event is of exceptional importance, both for the Turkish and our side, since it represents an important opportunity for the promotion of the Specialized Exhibition EXPO27, which will be held in Belgrade.
Ambassador Aca Jovanović once again expressed his satisfaction that the Republic of Türkiye was among the first countries in the world to confirm its participation in the EXPO27 event, which is an undoubted reflection of the high level of bilateral relations and readiness for their further improvement.
